The condition of public healthcare and education system in India has little to rejoice for. Government apathy and increasing role of private sector in these arenas of life makes it more pathetic and vulnerable, which makes the situation worse. Apart from the universal healthcare, the ignorance towards basic tenets of health and education and its several nuances along with ground realities and reasons are ignored by the successive governments. This effort talks about the eight concerns related to health and education where government, citizenry and other stakeholders must get united and move ahead in the right direction.
