Anthropometry is an important tool for assessing the biological fitness of individuals as well as populations. This in turn highlights the nutritional status and reproductive health. The present work describes the study conducted on young Muslim women of Lucknow city. Selected anthropometric measurements such as height, weight, waist circumference and hip circumference were taken. Anthropometric indicators of nutritional status include Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist-Hip Ratio (WHR) were calculated. Menarcheal age, dietary intake and exercising habits were recorded.
