Women Participation: A Displacement Perspective

Purpose– The paper aims to put into context Development-Induced Displacement as policy measures with attention to the participation of the displaced women in various dimensions of the State displacement policy of the government and other problems associated with development-induced displacement. Design/methodology/approach– The approach taken in this paper is that of a discussion of the issues. Findings– Development in its broadest practical terms prepares for welfare within daily life’s social, economic, political, and cultural domains. But it is necessary to keep in the eye that development should not be one-sided. It lay to run with all from the society. From the empirical study, Women’s participation in RFCTLARRA, 2013 is meagre. Value-The paper discusses the issues surrounding State and Central Government policy measures, the economic gap between technologically trained workers and agricultural economies, and the cultural divide caused by policies and assumptions.
