Opportunities and Challenges for NRLM Women’s During Covid-19: A Study of Bhiwani District (Haryana)

Abstract

Globally, multiple countries are suffering from COVID-19. On 11th March 2020, World Health Organisation (WHO) announced that it is a pandemic situation and can not take it lightly. After that many countries took initiative to impose “lockdown” in their countries for prevent the spreading of Coronavirus. Being a developing country, India faces lot of social and economic problems. At the same time NRLM Women’s contribution is excellent in the COVID-19 activities. They came as frontline warriors. They did excellent work during the pandemic to protect the people from the Corona virus by contributing in making the helping material like mask and sanitizer. The situation led to provide opportunities and challenges for NRLM women. So, the present study is taken into consideration. The main aim of the study is to check the working of women’s and their problems faced by them during COVID-19.
