The effect of seed treatment with air dried spore powder of Trichoderma koningii and G. virens on germination, growth promotion and nodulation of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) plant were investigated in the glass house. Observation on nodulation, shoot-root length, fresh and dry weight were taken after 60 days. There was no any significant difference in germination and nodulation when seed were treated with T. koningii and G. virens. G. virens do not had any effect on growth promotion while significant increase in root-shoot length, dry weight and fresh weight observed when seed were treated with air dried spore powder of T. koningii @ 200, 500 and 1000 mg/kg of seed.
