The present study was conducted during the year 2004–05 in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. The purpose of the study was to assess the perceived characteristics and adoption level of KVK trained trainees in horticulture vegetable crop production technology. The trained trainees were found to have high level of perceived characteristics of potato and tomato crop production technology, low level of perceived characteristics of chilli, capsicum and vegetable pea crop production technology. Krishi Vigyan Kendra trained trainees were having high level of adoption of the chilli, potato and capsicum and low level of adoption in the tomato, vegetable pea and capsicum crop cultivation. The utilization of information sources were significantly associated with perception of vegetable crop production technology.
