The okra seeds were treated with different doses of gamma irradiation eg. 500, 1000, 1500, 2500, and 3000 rods. The result shows from the investigation that the does of 2000 rod in okra significantly increased vegetative growth of plants, number of flowers and fruits per plant as well as weight of fruits, fruit and seed yield (q/ha) are which can be recommended for profitable cultivation of okra as the results were at par in M2 generation also
