Abstract

The present study was conducted in Barabanki of Uttar Pradesh to identify the technological constraints faced by the menthaof growers for sustainable development. The seven major constraints of mentha growers observed were non availability of imputs at proper time, improper and non judicious use of fertilizers and Pesticides, lack of infrastructural development, complex credit Pattern, very poor communication network, less faith in the new inventions and ignorance regarding market facilities. The investigator refers that the better production of mentha crop by obtained minimizing the constraints through transfer oftechnology.
