The present study was conducted during the year 2003–04 in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. The purpose of this study was to assess the perceived characteristics and behaviour of adoption of KVK trained trainees in relation to animal husbandry and allied activity like bee keeping. On the basis of this study the majority of trained trainees were having high level perceived characteristics of feeding to animals, medium level perceived characteristics of protection from disease to animals and low level perceived characteristics of selection of improved breeds in animals. Incase of bee keeping, the majority of trained trainees in low level perceived characteristics ofselection improved species, feeding to bee, honey production and protection from disease. The high adoption behaviour in feeding, protection from disease in animals and low adoption behaviour in selection of improved breeds in animals, selection of improved species of bee, feeding, honey production and protection from disease of bee.
