Abstract

The experiment was conducted with 4S F1s, developed through diallel technique excluding reciprocals along with 10 parents viz., Azad Bhindi-2, Azad Bhindi-1 (Azad Ganga), KS-30S (Red), Prabhani Kranti, KS-312, Arka Anamika, Pusa Sawani, 80-2, P-7 and VRO-6 in Randomized block design with three replications for twelve quantitative traits viz., Days to flowering, plant height (cm~, number of branches/plant, number of nodes/Plant, number of first fruiting node, height of first fruiting node (cm), length of internode (cm), Fruit length (cm), fruit width (cm) tapering length of fruit (cm), number of fruits/plant and yield/plant (g).
