The present experiment was carried out to establish the impact of bulb size (3.0–4.0, 4.0–5.0 and 5.0–6.0 cm), varities (Hisar-2 and Nasik-red) and spacings (30 x 10 cm, 30 x 20 cm and 30 x 30 cm) on the seed yield, quality of seed and nutrient uptake through onion seed crop. Obviously 5.06.0 cm size of bulb of Hisar-2 variety at 30 x 30 cm spacing gave sustainable increase in shoot weight plant−1, 1000 seed weight, seed yield (qha−1) and germination percentage of seed. A precise increase in protein content in seed and N,P and K uptake through seed was produced by bulb size of 5.0–6.0 cm of Hisar-2 varities at 30 x 20 cm spacing in the present investigation.
