Present study incorporates impacts of sulphur dioxide on stomatal conductance in two species of cacti which are Mammillaria fragilis and Mammillaria crinita, Plants were given treatment of three different concentrations (1306, 2612 and 5224 μgm−3) of SO2 There were recorded adverse effects on stomatal apparatus of treated plants and effects of SO2 were showing an increasing trend with increased concentration of SO2 and age of the plants.
