Abstract

The present investigation entitled " Analysis of Socio-economic status of flowers growers in westernUttar Pradesh " was carried out during 2019–20 in four block in two district.160 purposely selectedfarmers who were practicing flowers cultivation were interviewed to collect the primary data on the basisof objective of the study. The data were tabulated and analyzed statistically to draw appropriateconclusions. The findings of this study revealed that majority of the respondents were found in middleage group (31 to 60 year) having Intermediate level of education belonged to other backward caste,medium size of family (5 to 8 members) and had membership no anyone organization. Majority of therespondents were having only agriculture as their main occupation, maximum number of therespondents belonged to marginal size of land holdings category (0 to 1ha.) with annual income categoryof Rs. Less than 100000.
