The lack of knowledge resources, lack of communication, and linkages with the other agencies are cause of large gap in adoption of new technologies in crop production, dairy farming, post harvest management. To provide critical skills and technologies, the KVK organized Women Self Help Group. SHG is a small volunteer association of poor/lower middle class people preferably from the same socio economic background. Self Help Groups is one of the driving forces on the chain of socio-economic development; the study was more expanded to four villages Self Help Groups (SHGs), a voluntarily form by the locality of Haidernagar, Jalalpur, Mukandpur, Lakhan villages of Muzaffarnagar District. With the help of simple random sampling technique, 100 members of the groups are selected, of which all data and require information is collected, the study showcase the roles of SHGs on alleviation of poverty and its sustainability.
