Abstract

A continuous increase of polyphenols was observed from 24 h to 168 h in guar plants upon Macrophomina phaseolina infection and then a decline was noticed, however, the levels were found relatively higher as compared to healthy tissues at every stage. Out of the four varieties studied, one RGC-1031 responded maximum phenolic level.
