Abstract

A polymerase chain reaction and sequence analysis of cry1 gene was established. Based on the analysis of the conserved region of cry1 gene ,two oligonucletide primers were designed to amplify a 277bp of genes. The amplified products were send for sequencing and single nucleotide variations were observed. Cry1 gene were the most abundant and cry1 gene sub classes were present in 45 local isolates and 4 in reference strain obtained from Bacillus genetic stock centre (USA).
