Influence of seed treatment and nitrogen levels on germination, growth, and yield of summer season okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) moench.)

Influence of GA₃ and nitrogen doses on growth and yield of summer season okra was studied. The treatments consisted of all possible combinations of GA₃ and nitrogen each with 4 levels as G₀ (0 ppm), G₁ (10 ppm), G₂ (20 ppm), G₃ (40 ppm), N₀ (0 kg/ha), N₁ (50 kg/ha), N₂ (80 kg/ha), N₃ (100 kg/ha). Different treatments Influenced growth characters as well as yield components and yield of okra. Treatment N₃G₃ (100 kg/ha N + 40 ppm GA₃) was found superior compared to control and other treatments.
