Delimitation is the process of redrawing electoral boundaries of either Assembly constituencies or Lok Sabha constituencies and our constitution made it mandatory for periodic delimitation on the basis of census means population is an important element in the delimitation process. This article is an attempt to find out how due to the delimitation process in 1971 and 2001 faces of Assembly seats representation changes in Rajasthan. Delimitation Commission is responsible for redrawing boundaries and commission is accountable for proper representation than how far they justify the differences which was occurred due to third and fourth delimitation because in third delimitation Rajasthan had 26 districts and in fourth delimitation it had 33 districts beyond this fact that after third delimitation seven new districts were carved out and in last delimitation they cannot made proper representation because only few districts had increasing trends of seats and few still on the same position so it is problem of method adopted or boundaries were moulded in favour of some political parties or can say it is gerrymandering.
