Widely unequal from tehsil to tehsil in the study area, the study was conducted to examine trends in area, production and yield of wheat in southern Rajasthan from period average of 1980–1982 to 2010–2012 at the tehsil using method yield per hectare. Use of fertilisers, high yield varieties seeds, use of technology, mechanisation is closely based on the availability of irrigation and its impact of the wheat productivity in a region. It is found that the use of HYV (High Yielding Varieties) seeds, fertiliser, modern mechanisation and literacy rate has significant effects on enhancement of wheat productivity in study area. The main objectives of the present research paper are to analyse the importance of wheat productivity and examine the impact of controlling factors on productivity in study area. The spatial pattern factors and productivity have been observed.
