Propagation studies on Carrizo rootstock multiplied through tissue culture, cutting and seedling methods were carried out at Punjab Agricultural University Fruit Research Station, Jallowal-Lesriwal, Jalandhar (India). The growth of these plants in terms of height and stem thickness was recorded at four stages, namely 15th March (Stage-I), 15th June (Stage-II), 15th September (Stage-III) and 15th December (Stage-IV). Results showed that the tissue cultured plants attained maximum height at all growth stages. Highest increase in growth of plants was observed from stage-II to stage-III. Leaf nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg) and zinc (Zn) contents were highest in plants propagated by seed sowing method. Cutting method showed the largest number of primary roots, followed by seedlings which registered longest root system. Root diameter and fresh weight of roots was also highest in seedlings. The buddable rootstock plants were higher in seed sowing and tissue culture methods in comparison to cutting. These methods also registered more budding success of Daisy and W. Murcott mandarin scions in comparison to cutting.
