Trees of galgal (Citrus limon Burm) were planted at three spacings viz;. 12’ x 12’, 16’ x 16’ and 20’ x 20’ under rainfed conditions of Kandi area of Punjab state to determine effect of tree spacing on growth, production and fruit quality. Plant height increased significantly with decrease in tree spacing while inverse was the relation with tree spread and stem girth. Fruit yield per tree was highest in widest spacing whereas per unit area yield was highest in closest spacing. Fruit weight and size were found maximum in widest spacing and lowest in the closest spacing. Quality characteristics i.e. total soluble solids and acidity percentage were increased with increase in tree spacing.
