The present study is an endeavour to examine the adoption levels, impact and constraints faced by beneficiaries after adopting the newly introduced enterprises. The study revealed that after project interventions, the farming was supplemented by dairy, mushroom cultivation and bee-keeping. The study revealed that in compliance to diversification, the cropping pattern showed a shift in favour of new crop enterprises. Though this shift to diversify the existing crop enterprises in favour of new ones was slow yet the process was started. New income generative enterprises too played a crucial role in augmenting the income levels of the sample beneficiaries. Study further reflected that though the sample beneficiaries had been kind enough in adopting the new crops and income generative enterprises, nevertheless a lack of organized marketing system, lack of precise knowledge, nonavailability of requisite factor inputs were a few hindrances in the adoption of these enterprises which required immediate concern of Agricultural Technological Management Agency (ATMA) officials.
