The present investigation was undertaken to study the pathology of bacterial diseases of broilers at selected farms in Punjab. Bacterial diseases viz. omphalitis, gangrenous dermatitis and colibacillosis were observed. Gross and histopathological alterations were recorded. Isolation of causative organisms was undertaken in the affected tissues. Cultural sensitivity reports showed that most of the isolates from these diseases were sensitive to pefloxacin, norfloxacin, nalidixic acid, enrofloxacin and chloramphenicol while resistant to penicillin-G, ampicillin, erythromycin, kanamycin, streptomycin and cephalexin.
