Abstract

Web has emerged as one of the best medium for effective communication. Most of the information in the digital world is represented in different languages including various vernacular of Indian region. Hence, many initiatives have been taken for web representation as well as information retrieval of Indian text. Present study is an effort to enlist them under various perspectives such as web representation, information retrieval, standardization, etc.
