Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming language learning and cross-cultural communication, offering innovative solutions to longstanding challenges in education. This abstract examines how AI- driven technologies, such as natural language processing, machine translation, and adaptive learning systems, are revolutionizing the way students acquire new languages and engage with diverse cultures. AI-powered tools facilitate personalized learning experiences by adapting to individual learners’ needs, enabling real-time language translation, and providing instant feedback, thus accelerating language acquisition. Moreover, AI bridges cultural gaps by fostering cross-cultural understanding through immersive and interactive experiences that expose learners to diverse linguistic and cultural contexts. However, the integration of AI in language education also presents challenges, including concerns about the accuracy of translations, cultural sensitivity, and the potential for reinforcing biases. This abstract highlights the dual role of AI as both an enabler of enhanced language learning and cross-cultural communication and as a subject of critical reflection on its implications for education in an increasingly globalized world.
