Abstract

Meat and dual type chicks were of fered nine dietary treatments and reared upto six week age under hot and cold climate to assess the growth and carcass characteristics. Genotype effect was found significant on body weight, feed efficiency and all carcass traits except blood loss. Total meat yield obtained in G1, G2 (meat type) and G3 (dual type) birds was 70.77, 70.04 and 67.22 percents respectively. Diet and climate did not intluence eviscerated and total meat yield.
