Abstract

The present study was conducted on various batches of broilers having strength from 150 to 500 birds raised on deep-litter system. The main objective of study was to understand the trend of returns in different seasons like monsoon, winter and summer from broiler rearing. The results revealed non-significant highest 49.72% returns in winter followed by 30.71% in monsoon and 19.67% in summer. The findings indicated that winter appears to be ideal season for optimum performance and maximum returns from broiler rearing.
