Abstract

Fowl typhoid (FT) was produced experimentally in day old white leghorn broiler chicks inoculated with field strains ofSalmonella gallinarum. The development of macroscopic and microscopic patho-morphological changes at different stages of progression of experimentally FT are dscribed. The pathogenesis of FT is discussed.
