Increased and Reduced Order Synchronisations between 5D and 6D Hyperchaotic Systems

Abstract

In this paper, generalised increased- and reduced-order synchronisation is established between 5D and 6D hyperchaotic system by applying active control method. Using the active control method, we have drafted the appropriate control functions to attain the generalised synchronisation between: (1) 5D hyperchaotic system as the master and 6D hyperchaotic system as the slave system and (2) 6D hyperchaotic system as the master and 5D hyperchaotic system as the slave system. It has also been shown that the coupling strength is inversely proportional to the synchronisation time in both the cases. We perform the numerical simulation to justify the efficiency of the proposed control scheme.
