Abstract

Denosing of spectra has been a bringing for engineers and scientist before its analysis. Many methods have been proposed in last decades; wavelets have been used since a long period. Wavelet Packets are generalization of wavelets. In this paper, denoising of Raman spectra is done for the samples of the Raman spectra of Sr2+ modified PMN-PZT ceramics on the basis of signal to noise ratio (SNR) and root mean square error (RMSE). The denoising is carried out using Coiflet wavelet transform and comparers with Coiflet wavelet packet transform.
