Socially responsible investment or SRI was introduced in the earlier time in tea sectors of west Bengal to ensure the betterment of the labourers associated with the sectors but until date those hardworking persons living below the poverty line do not test the essence of the concept.
In gradual course, the collaboration between tea sectors management and governance is forced to be decomposed and as an obvious result, social development is thwarted. In the following study, there is ample scope to throw light on the SR initiatives vide/through the fuzzy mathematical modelling and to give stress on the modelling on the system of tea production along with the problems interconnected. The result shows that the fallacy of extended alliance between the estate owners and government may jeopardize the SR activity.
