Abstract

This paper presents a new approach for performing numerical inversion of the Laplace transform using rationalized Haar wavelet. Generally, the derivation of operational matrix is difficult but in this paper, we present an elementary approach to operational matrices of orthogonal functions. The stated algorithm is simple and only matrix multiplications and ordinary algebraic operations are involved in the method.
