Twenty genotypes of tomato, Solanum lycopersicon L were evaluated for yield and yield component characters in RBD with three replications. Fruit yield per plant was positively and significantly associated with number of fruits per plant and yield per plot. Path coefficient analysis revealed that average fruit weight had the highest direct positive effect on fruit yield per plant followed by plant height, days to first fruit set and number of flowers per cluster. Hence this character may be simultaneously selected to develop the high yielding varieties.
