Abstract

The southern non-marine Chillopoda, Diplopoda, Parauropoda and Symphyla involve groups in Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Antarctic islands and South America, it is due to biogeographical process due to the existence of Gondwana macrocontinent, that joined the current mentioned continents. The aim of the present scope was doing a literature analysis of non-marine Chillopoda, Diplopoda, Parauropoda and Symphyla from Sub-Antarctic islands and Antarctica with the aim of to apply similarities index. The results revealed the marked differences along sub-Antarctic islands included in the present study, that revealed a marked biogeographical difference between species reported. These results would be due evolutionary process that involved dispersion and isolation of different species along sub-Antarctic islands. Biogeographical patterns were discussed.
