In the current study, seven Vigna radiata varieties have been evaluated against sucking pests and yellow mosaic disease (YMD) of mung bean at the Soil and Water Management Research Unit (SWMRU) farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat, India during summer 2021-22. Among the seven varieties, GAM 5 recorded the lowest number of aphid, Aphis craccivora (0.36/ plant), jassid, Empoasca kerri (0.42/ plant), whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (2.62/ plant), and YMD (6.00%) incidence. While K 851 recorded the highest number of A. craccivora (0.94/ plant), E. kerri (0.95/ plant), B. tabaci (4.88/ plant), and YMD (22.80%) incidence. CO 4 exhibited the tallest plant height (92.50 cm), while K 851 had the shortest plant height (51.70 cm). GAM 5 had the highest levels of chlorophyll (1.20 mg), phenol (36.29 mg), and crude fiber content (6.08%), whereas K 851 had the lowest levels. Additionally, GAM 5 had the highest trichome density (151.00/ cm2 leaf area) and longest trichome length (0.69 mm), while K 851 had the lowest. The number of pods/ plant was the highest in GAM 5 (40.2/ plant) and lowest in K 851 (27.15/ plant). GAM 5 yielded the maximum harvest at 1428.24 kg/ ha, while K 851 had the minimum seed yield at 453.70 kg/ ha.
