However, there is a noticeable scarcity of research on biodiversity and taxonomy, with only a few submissions exploring the application of molecular tools like DNA barcoding. This gap is concerning, given the critical role of accurate species identification in conservation and pest management strategies. Even more striking is the limited focus on emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence for insect behaviour analysis and drone-based surveillance for pest monitoring.
