Abstract

DyrzelaWalker (1857) 1858, an Oriental noctuid genus comprises of eleven species. It is a rare noctuid from India, and the present study documents a new record of this almost after 162 years. Detailed redescription with illustrations of adults and male genitalia are provided. A checklist of known species of the genus Dyrzela is also provided.
