In this study 70 chilli germplasm/ varieties were screened against yellow mite Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks) under field condition at the Vegetable Research Farm, C S Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during 2017–18. The genotypes were observed for mite incidence and scored into five categories based on % leaf damage (downward curling symptoms on leaves). The results revealed that none were found immune; 11 genotypes (G-4, Selection long-1, Pusa Jwala, M-7-1, NA-11, NT-74, Achar-36, 810–45, 910–27, 47–3 and 71–15) were found resistant with 1–25% leaf damage, 36 moderately resistant (26-50% leaf damage), 17 susceptible (51-75% leaf damage) and the rest six (2016, M-2-1, 3530–1, 810–66, 8304-A and 2031) highly susceptible ( >76% leaf damage).
