Abstract

The field experiment conducted in the research farm of Cotton Research Unit, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, during kharif 2018-19, revealed that the least pink boll worm damage on open boll was in the treatment T6 i.e. 10.83 % where weekly destruction of rosette flower along with five releases of trichocards @ 8 cards/ha alternated with 4 sprays of azadirachtin @ 10 ml/10 l at 10 days interval starting at 50 DAE were carried out. Maximum seed cotton yield (12.53 q/ha) was also observed in the same. The cost benefit ratio of weekly destruction of rosette flowers followed by five releases of trichocards @ 8 cards/ha alternated with 4 sprays of azadirachtin @ 10 ml/10 l at 10 days interval starting at 50 DAE was concluded as economical.
