Abstract

Sixty-four rice genotypes were screened against rice hispa Dicladispa armigera Olivier during kharif 2018 and 2019. The rating of genotypes on the basis of grading revealed that five genotypes were moderately resistant, one moderately susceptible, 38 susceptible and 21 were highly susceptible. No egg laying was observed on moderately resistant genotypes. During 2019, HPR 2617 was observed to be the most promising and moderately resistant.
