Indian Rhyacophilidae: Keys, catalogue and phylogeny of genus Rhyacophila (R. Vulgaris branch)

Dichotomous keys and a catalogue of species of the Rhyacophilavulgaris Branch from India and in its surroundings are provided. The phylogenetic relationships of branches of the genus Rhyacophila and species of the R. vulgaris Branch are analysed based on characters of male genitalia. Fifteen characters with 31 character states are used in the analysis and construction of cladograms for species of the R. vulgaris Branch. The results are discussed in terms of diversity in male genitalia.
