Abstract

The pheromone trap efficiency studies on brinjal shoot and fruit borer, Leucinodes orbonalis Guenee were conducted to find out the suitable trap type, optimum height, effective lure concentration and frequency of replacement of the lures. The sleeve traps installed at crop canopy level with 3 mg lure concentration replaced at every 15 days were found effective in trapping the maximum number of moths.
