Utilization of concrete in almost every civil engineering applications have continued to place high demand on constituent concrete materials. This have stimulated different search for the possibility of using laterised concrete to make structures. Some properties of laterised concrete have been examined so far. This study gives the appraisal of these properties. The results of the review showed that laterite soil makes concrete less workable. However, laterite soil produced concrete that compares in strength with a normal concrete. It also showed that laterite soil can enhance some properties of concrete depending on the nature of the laterite and also blended material.
