The study was conducted on randomly selected 60 fisherwomen of South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The findings revealed that annual income and decision making process were significantly and positively correlated with the amount of fish seed collection. Regression analysis showed that only annual income contributed to explain 78.2 per cent variation in amount of seed collection.
