Abstract

The effect of magnet treated water on plasma concentration of Ca, Fe and Zn was studied in endoparasitic infested sheep. The plasma Ca and Zn concentration in different treatment showed significant difference (P<0.01) whereas, the nonsignificant difference was observed for Fe concentration in plasma. The significant (P<0.01) increase in blood plasma concentration at different periods was observed for Fe and Zn. The significantly (P<0.01) higher mean blood plasma concentration for Fe (213±16.1μg/dl) and Zn (106.57±2.8 μg/dl) was observed in South pole and North pole groups at 45 days. The efficiency for South pole group (77.42%) was higher as compared to North and North and North South pole groups which was directly related to higher mean values in blood concentration of Ca and Zn.
