Image edge detection using ant colony optimization

This paper aims to analyze various edge detection technique. If we compare other detectors, amongst them canny edge detector excels them all and gives finer results. It has many advantages from being adaptive and shows less sensitivity towards noise and also solves streaking issue and is able to allocate a better localization and is able to perceive much sharper edges. Canny Algorithm is considered one of the optimal technique for edge detection, with due course of time a lot of research has been put into it. The newer algorithms could possibly detect edges in coloured image without changing into gray image. Not only this, in future Canny Algorithm can do automatic extraction from moving objects in image guidance.
