Absorption Refrigeration is more applicable in process industries for generating refrigeration. The thermodynamic processes in the absorption refrigeration system releases a enormous amount of heat to surrounding. This heat is evolved at temperatures above the surrounding temperature, which gives in a major irreversible losses i.e. Exergy loss, enthalpy, entropy temperature mass flow rate and heat rate. Co-efficient of performance in each component of the s/m are evaluated from the results obtained it can be concluded that evaporator and condenser heat loads and exergy losses are less that that of generator and absorber. This is due to the heat of mixing in the solution coefficient of Performance (COP) and exergetie different operating conditions. Show that the cooling and heating Cop of the system increases slightly when increasing the heat source temperature. However the exergetic efficiency of the system decreases when increasing the heat source temperature. Many studies have been performed to analyse the performance under different operating conditions and employing advanced cycles single effect absorption system are severly limited in their ability to utilize high temperature between SOC and 100°C.
