The focus of study is analysis properness of two weight cyclic dual codes. While considering a q-ary symmetric memory less channel, detection of error is viewed by properness. We show for some parameters and by constructing some specific function a properness of a dual code is detected. This properness also makes a dual code better for error detetion.
