The value-added life is thriven not just survive through employment in the society. The concept of value-added life differs from person to person like worth, position, idea, importance, etc. We analyze mathematical model of value-added life through the employee satisfaction with education or with malpractice. A nonlinear mathematical model with transmission dynamics of value-added life using optimal control is formulated in this paper. The model consists of seven compartments; viz susceptible, basic educated, higher educated, satisfied employees, unsatisfied employees, malpractice and value-added life class. The basic educated people can be motivated by promoting them for higher education through advertisement and counseling. If individuals are highly educated, then they become a better employee. The incentives as increments or promotion are advocated to the unsatisfied employee to make them satisfied for their better output. The objective is to optimize value-added life either through job satisfaction or through malpractice. The threshold is calculated to determine the effect of education, job and malpractice in the society. The model is validated through numerical data.
