Abstract

Pollution in basic sustainable resources due to xenobiotic activities is a serious problem today and construction industry is a major contributor to the increase of this problem. Rapidly increasing population and luxurious desires of people has caused a boom in construction industry and a rapid degradation in environment quality. Construction industry is a broad spectrum pollution causing industry which pollutes almost every resource like soil, water, air, etc which is a serious environmental issue. In this paper we have made an attempt to present efficiency of Fuzzy Goal Programming (FGP) in the area of mathematical programming for modeling and solving environmental hazards due to construction industry.
